Wowza did I have the bajeebers scared out of me today. Always loved a good storm. So when the wind started blowing really good, I headed outside. Next thing I know, the wind is blowing from every direction. (Not a good sign.) And the trees were weeping to the ground. I could feel my feet being swept off the ground. Not kewl, so I headed inside. Our lights started flickering, and then a transformer let out a long electrical groan. All our doors started pulling shut and wind swept through our entire house via the windows. And I could feel a slight rumbling.

Immediately, I headed down to our basement. While calling out to my sleeping husband to follow suite. Next I called my 3 kitties downstairs too. Now cats are quite independant. But all three came running lightning fast for me. They knew mommie meant business.

As things settled a bit, I ran to our integral garage to see what was up outside. The very heavy double garage door was lifting up and down. As far as it could get away with since it was locked.

After things settled even more, I went upstairs and turned on the TV. It said 10-15 mph winds and some thunderstorms. Yeah right..... About 15 minutes later it said we had a tornado warning that ended in 2 minutes. No kidding!

In PA, the hills and mountains tend to break up the tornados. Or at the very least, keep them well enough above your home. Either it passed right over us, or it was very close. Whew!

This is a repeat premonition. The repeats usually have some truth in them.

Annoncements were made that weapons of mass destruction were used in the nearby town of Erie. This was done by Al Quiada. (The first time I had this premonition, I had no clue who Al Quida was.) All were told to evacuate because of the dangerous particulate matter. I assumed it was the US Erie. But now I am not so sure. Some were evacuating via train station. And the cutlery in the lounge was specific to the UK. And folks had accents. So while I am not 100% certain it was Erie in the UK, I think it was.

This is a repost from what I posted at another site on 10/09/10.

I had a repeat premonition about an unexpected volcano erupting there. My repeat premonitions do happen. And leave me feeling shell shocked afterwards. sad.gif

The only place I could find a Sinclair was in Wyoming. Looks like this is somewhat near yellowstone? Wowza!!! This is too coincidental. Especially since I never heard of any town called Sinclair. Where would I have even gotten the name?

This is definately one to take notice of. I am not some kiddie looking for attention. Take heed folks!

This problem isn't like I've had before, but it's becoming a pain
in the butt!!!
We have our computers set up with only one user....the administrator and no password needed.
I try to print something and it won't print (it used to)
I checked and the printer is there and marked as the default, but it
just sits there pending.
I figured I would put in the disk and see if that would correct any
problem, but it told me I didn't have authorization to do that, only
the administrator can!!!
There's only 1 user on each of our computers and that's the administrator!!
Why is it doing this???? Is this maybe why msn and IE is blocking me entering
facebook sweeps and now it's affecting my printer???

Ds was going to go to a friends play Friday night, but he didn't get to go cause we
couldn't get the tickets to print.

It is so quiet around here. I pop in a couple of times a day but no one
has been around.
I've been busy getting things ready for my DH, he will be home Monday,
gads, it will seem so weird to share the house again since he's been gone
for over 5 months now. Then our son from Idaho will be here Friday, so
I really need to get to cooking, but after this long of just fixing quick things
to eat, not sure if I can get back in the swing of things this fast. lol.gif
Hope you are all okay.

You all remember my sister Jean (pippygirl)
Well, some years back, her husband was diagnost with parkinsons.
The dr said that there was medication for it and after a while, you
wouldn't even know he had it.

Well, he kept getting worse and the dr just kept upping his meds.
He still kept getting worse, so they were referred to another dr by their
primary dr. This new dr is suppose to be one of the best.

They went to the new dr and he was told to get off all meds and they would start from scratch.
His apt to see the dr after being off all the meds was this last week.

Found out he has a rare decease that is a lot of times diagnost as parkinsons, but isn't.
It's 3 different dibilitating deceases that merg together over a 10 year period, but most die
before the 3 merg. He's had this now for almost 10 years and the signs of the 3 deceases are now showing up.

I feel so bad for her. She had to deal with my dad and his illness and then deal with the aftermath
of his death. Then a year later, my dads brother did the same thing. He had never been
married or have any kids, so Jean was tasked with that clean up.
In fact, the cops came to where she worked when that happened.
She finally made it through that and now she has to deal with her husband dieing.
It could be within the next few months. They just don't know. All they do know is
the life expectency is 10 years and he's at that point now.

She quit her job so she could be with him and care for him. He's only 67! Luckily, their house is
paid for and they have no bills, but it will still be a financial drain on them.

She does very little sweeping any more. She just didn't have the time like she used to
since she had gone back to work. She said she wasn't winning anything anyways and it wasn't worth
the time she was putting in to it.

I just feel so bad for her and her husband. He is such a neat easy going guy and everyone
loves the him.

It has had me so depressed this last week, not being able to be there for her (they are still
in OR)
I've haven't done hardly any sweeping these last few weeks.
I've done the fb sweeps and the 1xer's that are ending and that's it!!
Then I find out last night that ds won't be home for a couple more weeks!

Well, he's finally back cheer.gif
He left Saudi at 4am Tuesday morning and arrived back in Wyoming in the early morning
on Thursday.
That was almost 48 hours for him to get home!

He said he's taking 45 days leave and will be coming home the last week of July and
the first 2 weeks of August.
We will take the 2nd week of August off since his birthday is the 10th.
I can't believe he's going to be 25!!!

We did a lot of searching last night and today looking for a cabin at Beaver's Bend in Oklahoma.
We thought it would be a nice getaway for us for 3 nights.
The guys will do some fishing. I might do a little hiking or horse back riding.
They also have ATV's you can rent or canoe the river too.

It's a nice 2 bedroom/2 bath house right on the river.
Dh wanted to be on a river rather than the lake.
It's got a huge deck that looks out over the river.
I'm really looking forward to it.

DS also told me that he has decided to get out of the military, move back to Texas and
finish college doublethumbup.gif
That means he'll be moving back home in December cheer.gif

Well, our courtyard was really starting to look bad.
Yesterday I pulled weeds that were growing through the brick,
trimmed some plants, but the heat just took it out of me.
It got up to 99 yesterday.
Dh was mowing and weedeating, so he was in the sun in the heat too.
It wiped both of us out.
Today, I finished trimming my plants and raked, swept and washed down
the brick. DH split and stacked wood.
The courtyard looks so much nicer now, but the heat and humidity is a killer!!!
I hardly have any energy left, but it feels good to get things done that you
put off cause it's so much work. doublethumbup.gif
Since I've cut sugar out of my diet, I've lost 10 pounds. Hopefully, all that
sweating and hard work, I will drop a few more pounds dancing4dh.gif
Now, it's time to start doing some sweeps. We are at the end of the first week of
June and only 1 win.

Hey Cecilia, my dh has the panasonic toughbook laptop that I won a few years ago.
It's a great computer and I loved it, but wanted a full size keyboard.
I got the toshiba (which I'm not crazy about) and gave dh the panasonic.
It has a dvd/cdrw, but it's not working.
It's is rarely used, so can't understand why it won't work.
It's like it isn't even there.
When you go to device manager, the driver has a yellow mark on it telling you there's
a problem. We get a message telling us that it isn't loading properly because it may be corrupted.
The driver is matshita UJDA760
We did a search for this driver, but our model isn't listed for it.
Infact, it kept telling us that our computer was a different model.
Our model is # CF-51RCLDFBM. We couldn't even find our model.
Any suggestions?
I was starting to think it is hardware and not software, but if it's not software, why would we get the
corrupted message.
Going to my computer, doesn't even show we have a dvd drive.
This is driving us nuts!!! (short trip)

Well, we just finished watching the fourth kind.
It's the suposedly true story that takes place in Nome Alaska regarding alien abductions.
Not sure if we believe it or not.
Janice, do you know anything about it?
I mean, it was interesting and makes you wonder, but there were just things that
made us question the situation.
Anyone else see it?

I received a phone call today (cell phone) saying I was picked
to get $7000 from the goverment. It really P*ssed me off,
if these scammers really want to sound real, they should at
least have someone call that speaks english, I could barely
understand him. I listened for about 1 minute, then hung up.
Not 10 minutes later got another call, this time on my home
phone, for the same thing, this time it was a woman, and she
couldn't speak english any better than the other guy. I told
her I just received a phone call for the same thing, she says
"you have to accept this phone call, yes", I said no and hung
up. I didn't give them the chance to ask me for anything,
not even my address, so not sure what they were after, but I
am sure it was some kind of scam to get your bank account #.
The first call was from area code 501, but that is all it said, no
#, the second one says out of area.

then I went to one of my dailies and got slammed with 2 virus's.
My antivirus got them, but then did a full sweep 2 times to make
sure I got everything gone. Then my computer went nuts again,
never could get ie to open, thankfully firefox opened. Decided to
save all of my pictures and such, just in case, took me all day to
get this d*mn thing working right. comp.gif
It seems to working okay today, we will see, I don't like vista!!

My cell rang around 9:45pm last night. It was one of the girls that I work with
(bosses sister in-law)
She had gone to a movie with her sister (bosses wife) right after work.
They left her car here and just took one car.
When they got back, just as they were getting ready to pull into the
parking lot, a white van came flying out of the parking lot.
They got out of the car and all the alarms were going off.
Shortly after that, the police showed up.
Apparently, they took the van and rammed it into the back overhead door
to get it open!
The only thing we can figure that they took was a very expensive
plasma arc welding machine. (same thing that was taken last time we were robbed).
DH came down to help get the door secure since the bosses are in GA at
a dental show.
I'm going to have to figure out who did the over head doors and hopefully,
they will be able to come out today and get it replaced.
Don't want to go through the weekend with that back overhead door not secure.
This isn't a bad part of town, but it's the 3rd time something like this has happened!
Hopefully, the security camera's got something???
The world is full of people who prey on others hard work and that is just sad!!

DH and I desided to lose weight and start eating healthy a week ago.
We cut most sugars and whites out of our diets.
We've started eating fruites and fresh steamed veggies, grilled meat and
a lot more fish.
He weighed this morning and has lost 7 pounds.
I know men lose weigh quicker, so I figured maybe 1 pound for me or I
would still be at the same weight.
Well, I gained 2 pounds!!! cry.gif
I know I need to start an exercise routine to help me lose, but why would I
gain????
I really want a recumbent bike and you can get a really nice one for $299 &
free shipping, but dh said NO!!! ranting_1.gif

Put her to sleep today. Sigh... I am very sad but relieved. She was a mess... We had to carry her down our stairs to the car. And even lift her into the car. She even lost control of her bowels lately at times. Would walk and it would come out. Thank goodness our rugs are getting replaced anyways. Although it didn't seem to do any damage sice it was firm. She just layed around and slept the entire day. Could barely walk. My husband says that I will probablty do the same to him. Grrr... I told him he is right. devil.gif Just not in the mood for his shit. Gypsy was nearing her 15th B-day for a large dog. Most large dogs don't live that long.

I know it's nothing compared to what Cecilia is getting, but we aren't
used to this much snow!!
Some places are almost at a foot and at our house it's at about 5" now.
It started snowing around 3am and now it's 6:30pm and still snowing.
The weather report said it will continue to snow until around 2am
It's a new record for the most snow ever in North/Dallas Texas.
It reminds me of home smile.gif
We already made plans not to be at work until around 10 in the morning
or when we feel the roads are safe enough.
The roads are real slushy and it's now at freezing temp, so my morning, the
roads will be nothing but a sheet of ice sad.gif

How's it up in your area Cecilia? Making it ok?
