Please make sure your Windows is 100% up to date with security patches. Allso make sure your antivirus is up to date also. And make sure your files have all been scanned in the last couple of days. Looks like Windows has done it to us yet again. An extreme number of computers have become infected. I also did one additional thing. I turned off the auto play for my CD player. I always knew this was a weak spot in Windows, and had turned it off in the past years. It appears this nasty virus uses that to infect your puters.
This new virius is exceptionally bad. Hailed the Haley Bop virus, it reaches out from your monitor and bops you on the head. If you get a sudden craving for V8, you know you have been hit.  Actually the virus is called conficker or aka Kido. -------------------- Hell has frozen over in Alaska, and it is spreading. Run for your lives!!!!

Wow, I hadn't heard about this one.
I don't have any player set as my defaul to automatically play. I have it set of automatic updates and my anitvirus updates constantly through out the day, every day. Hopefully, I'm good. I'll let everyone else know about this too. I would hate to see someone get a bad virus. -------------------- |
